Tipping Point fans fear Ben Shephard will QUIT the show after bagging huge new job on This Morning

TIPPING Point fans are fearing Ben Shephard will quit the show after bagging his huge new job on This Morning.

Ben, 49, and Cat Deeley, 47, were officially confirmed as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield’s successors by ITV earlier this month, having first been revealed as the new pairing by The Sun.

They made their highly anticipated co-hosting debut on the lunchtime show yesterday, winning viewers over straight away.

But some have been left concerned about Ben’s Tipping Point gig, now that he’s busy with This Morning.

He’s been hosting the game show, which airs on ITV too, since 2012.

Just like This Morning, the programme runs every day – meaning he’s going to be swept off his feet with his hectic work schedule.

But, since he fronted Good Morning Britain alongside Tipping Point for years, it’s unlikely he will stand down.

That hasn’t stopped fans from rushing to X, formerly Twitter, to share their worries, though.

One wrote, “Who is hosting ‘Tipping Point’ now that Ben Shepherd has moved over to ‘This Morning ‘?”

Another added, “Will Ben still be doing tipping point? Also, has cat dealey left yet? l #thismorning.”

Somone else asked, “Is Ben going to continue hosting #TippingPoint as well as This Morning? That’s a lot of saturation if so.”

One more concluded, “Wonder who will presenting this when Ben goes to ThisMorning #tippingpoint.”

Last month The Sun revealed that Ben and Cat had been selected for the coveted role hosting This Morning after a string of rotating presenters.

Pay for the new duo is understood to be around £550,000 each — £150,000 less than Holly and Phil.

Opening the show yesterday, Ben, Cat said: “We are so excited to be here.

“This show has been a huge part of our lives for so long, so to be actually standing here with you, it’s good.”

Ben agreed, saying: “It is very special, we are thrilled to be here.”

He also thanked those who have sent them messages of support, which included a cheeky message from Ant and Dec, as well as former footballer Chris Kamara.
