TIPPING Point viewers were furious after TWO contestants failed to answer a question about Scotland correctly.
Saeed and Lucy both struggled to identify St Andrews as the location of the world’s oldest golf course on last night’s show.
The Fife town is famously known as the ‘Home of Golf’ with famous faces such as Tiger Woods, Jack Nicklaus, Bing Crosby and Barack Obama all gracing the greens.
The oldest golf course in the world is The Old Course at St Andrews Links and dates back to the 15th century.
Contestant Saeed was asked by host Ben Shephard: “According to Guinness World Records, the world’s oldest golf course is in which Scottish town?”
Saeed passed on the question, while Lucy couldn’t think of ANY towns.
She told host Ben Shephard: “I’m struggling to name Scottish towns and not cities.”
Ben then asked what parts of Scotland the contestant could name.

Lucy replied: “Edinburgh and Glasgow, they are obviously cities.
“I don’t know, I’ll go with Edinburgh. I know it’s not right.”
Fans of the show took to social media to express their frustration at the player’s answers.
One said: “Saeed and Lucy not endearing themselves to Scottish viewers.
“We’re well used to it.”

Another added: “It’s mental these two don’t know what the oldest golf course in Scotland is.”
A third tweeted: “Really don’t want to sound anti-English but people south of Watford gaps of knowledge of Scotland is abysmal.”
A fourth commented: “I don’t know anything about golf, but I knew that.”
