TIPPING Point fans were left bemused after a contestant made a right royal blunder.
ITV show star Jim was part of the contestant team which was put under the spotlight on Monday’s episode.
Yet the Tipping Point star, who arrived on-set in a moss green polo shirt, was left stumped when Ben Shephard asked a history question.
Ben asked: “Which monarch was on the British throne at the beginning of the 21st century?”
Jim, who appeared perplexed, replied: “Queen Victoria.”
It was left to show anchor Ben to point out the correct answer, this being the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Fans were quick to react, with one taking to Twitter to put: “Oh bless, Jim just came short.”
Another added: “Poor Jim. Only 100 years out.”
A third then put: “Never mind Jim, at least you had a nice day out!”
Jim’s luck didn’t improve later in the show, and he was the first star to be booted out.
Previously, Tipping Point fans called out a contestant’s “crazy” outfit.
Others were transfixed by a glam gamer’s array of tattoos.
