TV schedules are set to be tipped into turmoil from tomorrow – after the World Cup 2022 kicked off in Qatar.
Football is set to dominate the big channels over the coming weeks, with two huge games wiping out much of ITV’s usual Monday line-up.

The broadcaster’s main channel – recently rebranded as ITV1 – will be showing two huge games, with football on from 3pm until 9.15pm.
It will first air Senegal v Netherlands, followed by the blockbuster clash between the USA and Wales.
England‘s first group game against Iran will air on BBC One from midday on Monday.
The block of games on ITV1 mean Tipping Point, The Chase, Emmerdale and Coronation Street will not be shown.

Soap fans will not miss out however, with bumper episodes airing later in the week, when ITV isn’t showing evening football.
There will be hour-long trips to Emmerdale on Tuesday and Wedneday.
Monday’s trip to the I’m A Celeb jungle will still take place, at the slightly later time of 9.15pm.
It will be followed by the ITV News at 10.30pm.
